Laboratory reports.

Every report

Results are copied exactly from the laboratory's own report, and each card tells you how to look the report up with that laboratory. A lot verification tests the exact lot on the vial. A reference report is an independent test of the manufacturer's batch.

Overview

MOTS-c.

Almost every peptide in this catalog traces back to a gene in the cell nucleus. MOTS-c does not. In 2015 a group at the University of Southern California reported that a short open reading frame inside the mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene encodes a 16-residue peptide, and named it for where it was found: mitochondrial open reading frame of the 12S rRNA, type c.

It is a linear chain beginning with methionine and rich in arginine and aromatic residues, with two methionines that make it sensitive to oxidation, one reason it ships freeze-dried and sealed. Available in 10 mg and 40 mg vials.

We give no guidance on using, preparing or applying any material. Whether it suits your research is for you or your institution to judge.
